Assistant store manager concept store (40 hours per week)

For VESTINGH and LAB PAINT we are looking for a:

ASSISTANT MANAGER CONCEPT STORE (40 hours per week)

Every day we are ready for a mix of customers: painters, consumers and interior professionals. We give everyone personal attention and help with inspiration, color advice and paint and wallpaper choice.

As an assistant store manager, you are the linchpin of our concept store in Bussum together with the store manager. You ensure that customers feel welcome and are helped well, so that advice and sales go hand in hand. With your energy and enthusiasm, you coach the team, encourage cooperation and are always working on improving our service and working methods in the store. Together we make every day a success!

What are you going to do?

  • You plan, coordinate and manage the daily activities in the concept store, together with the store manager.
  • You sell, inspire and advise customers on the best paint and wallpaper choices.
  • You see opportunities in the areas of sales and efficiency and know how to convert these into actions.
  • With your coaching skills you motivate and support the team to get the best out of themselves.

A varied, independent function in a team. You will find yourself in a dynamic environment where your ideas and input are truly appreciated. Of course, you can count on market-conform employment conditions. Salary indication: between €2900 and €3500 gross per month on a full-time basis.

Working hours are determined in consultation from Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM and on Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious MBO student with retail and management experience who wants to grow with us. Characteristics such as customer-oriented, proactive, solution-oriented, hands-on and enterprising fit you perfectly. Affinity with paint and wallpaper is a plus, but not necessary.
