Living in an old school: look inside Sanne van Enstijl
An old characteristic school of more than 200 years old, high ceilings and lots of light. That sounds like a dream project to many people. But how do you ensure that a house of 350 square meters still feels cozy? Sanne van Enstijl and her family turned their DIY house into an attractive home with colors from the various LAB PAINT collections.
After a major renovation of about ten months, Sanne, Mari, Bo and Jip were finally able to really enjoy their new home in Vogelenzang. The old school is completely painted with LAB PAINT's sustainable paint. Look inside and discover which colors Sanne has used.
In her studio, Sanne has had a large custom cabinet made to measure. It is a real eye-catcher with lots of space to display beautiful things. The wall behind the cabinet is painted with LAB Wallpaint in the shade Brown Wood no. 222 . The studio is the showroom of her company Enstijl, where Sanne gives interior advice and where everything you see is for sale. Two walls in this room have also been painted with LAB Chalk in shades of Mushroom No. 287 and Coffee Addict No. 214 .

In the living room a niche has been made in the wall under the stairs. Beautiful interior items can be highlighted here. The wall, including the niche, is painted with LAB Wallpaint in the shade Strong Garlic no. 92 . On the other wall in the living room, LAB Chalk (lime paint) was used in the shade Brown Wood no. 222 .
Through the Moroccan door in the living room you enter the children's playroom. The wall in this room is painted with LAB Wallpaint in the shade Holy Monkey no. 127 . The small Malawi Chair fits perfectly with the warm atmosphere of this color.
LAB Chalk (lime paint) in the shade Sensational Sand no. 290 has been chosen in the kitchen and dining room.
In the hallway, Sanne has opted for a combination of normal wall paint and lime paint. Here the walls are painted with LAB Wallpaint in the shade Coffee Addict no. 214 and LAB Chalk (lime paint) in the same colour. The ceiling has also been partly included, so that it really feels like part of the rest of the interior. This makes the high space look a lot cozier.
The bathroom, painted in Sanne's favorite LAB COLOUR: Mushroom no. 287 .
The children's bedrooms and bathroom are located on the first floor of the old school. Son Bo's room is painted with LAB Wallpaint in the shade Warm Tan no. 91 . The star behind Bo's bed is painted in LAB COLOR Exciting Night no. 96 . By using the same kind of blue in the bedspread on the bed, it forms a beautiful whole.
In Jip's bedroom, Sanne chose to work with LAB Chalk (lime paint) in the shade Velvet Fudge no. 380 . A color that looks great with the rattan bed and the natural Moroccan accessories in this room.
