LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant

LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant is optionally the fourth step of the LAB Floor Coating system. It is especially recommended for floors in kitchens (because stains then have no chance to penetrate the coating) and floors with a lot of traffic (think of shops and such or living rooms where shoes are walked on and/or where pets are present.)

LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant has a milky colour, dries transparent and does not yellow. Please note! The coating can leave a white haze on dark and bright colours. In that case, have the LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant coloured by us in the LAB COLOUR of the LAB Floor Coating you used. We will be happy to inform you when this is or is not desirable.

The coating makes the surface of the substrate smoother, which makes the light radiation less diffuse. For this reason, colours can show a small change in appearance. If in doubt, make a test area or come and view our samples in our concept store.

LAB Chalk is a durable, matt lime paint for indoor use. With LAB Chalk you can apply beautiful colour shades in a LAB COLOUR of your choice to the wall. Lime paint can be applied in various ways with a block brush, sponge or cloth. For a cloudy effect, paint the wall in circular movements with a block brush, sponge or cloth. Prefer a random pattern? Then apply LAB Chalk criss-cross with a block brush. If you want a streaky effect as an end result, also use a block brush. In this case, apply the lime paint irregularly in a vertical direction from ceiling to skirting board. Everyone has their own unique signature. Consumption: 6 to 10 m² per litre. The consumption of the second layer of LAB Chalk can be higher due to the absorbent effect of the first layer. On the other hand, we recommend diluting the second layer with 30 percent water. This of course increases the yield considerably. All in all, the yield depends on the substrate, pretreatment, method of application, applied layer thickness (don't work too sparingly!), processing material and conditions. Make sure you order enough LAB Chalk, because a second mixture can differ slightly in colour due to the natural properties of lime. Do you unexpectedly have too little paint? Mix a new pot with the paint you have left over and use this for a new layer or wall.

How do you calculate the required quantity? Measure the length and width of the surface you are going to treat. Multiply this by each other and then divide it by the consumption per litre. Now you know how many litres you need for 1 layer. For example: for a surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 8 m² = 1.25 litres) you need 1.25 litres of LAB Chalk for 1 layer (calculated with a consumption of 8 m² per litre).

LAB Bathroom Coating

LAB Bathroom Coating is an easy to use system specially developed for bathrooms and wet cells, such as the shower room (with the exception of the floor in the wet cell). Ideal if you do not want tiles. But can also be applied over tiles! The LAB Bathroom Coating system consists of three different products, namely: LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnator, LAB Bathroom Coating Primer and LAB Bathroom Coating.

LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnation

With LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnator you fix powdery surfaces and highly absorbent surfaces are quickly sealed. This makes the covering system of LAB Bathroom Coating easier and more even to apply and creates a good bond with the surface.

Is the surface not absorbent? Then this step is not necessary.

Consumption: 6 to 10 m² per kilo. The yield depends on the substrate, pretreatment, method of application, applied layer thickness, processing material and conditions. Apply LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnator in 1 layer.

LAB Bathroom Coating Primer

LAB Bathroom Coating Primer provides excellent adhesion and colour coverage. For absorbent surfaces, first treat the bathroom with LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnation. If the surface is not absorbent (such as tiles and bathrooms that have already been painted or coated), step 1 (impregnation) can be skipped and you can apply LAB Bathroom Coating Primer directly. For gypsum-based stucco, plasterwork and Ytong blocks of aerated concrete, we recommend using Renovlies instead of LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnation. After applying Renovlies, you can get started with LAB Bathroom Coating Primer.

Consumption: 5 to 8 m² per kilo. The yield depends on the substrate, pretreatment, method of application, applied layer thickness, processing material and conditions. Apply LAB Bathroom Coating Primer in 1 or 2 layers. Rough, absorbent substrates require 2 layers for good layer thickness and coverage. Bright and very light colours cover less well. Two layers are also advisable in this case.

LAB Bathroom Coating

LAB Bathroom Coating is a colourfast coating that does not yellow. The coating is impact and scratch resistant and easy to clean.

You apply LAB Bathroom Coating to surfaces that have been treated with LAB Bathroom Coating Impregnator (only necessary for absorbent surfaces) and/or LAB Bathroom Coating Primer.

Consumption: 7 to 10 m² per kilo. The yield depends on the substrate, pretreatment, method of application, applied layer thickness, processing material and conditions. Apply LAB Bathroom Coating in two layers. It is important that you have already obtained good coverage with LAB Bathroom Coating Primer in step 2, especially with bright and white colours. Otherwise, two layers of coating may not be sufficient for a covering end result.

We do not recommend using the entire LAB Bathroom Coating system on the floor in the wet room of the bathroom.
