Insulating stain coating 500 ml

Fast-drying stain coating based on acrylic resin with excellent insulating properties for walls and ceilings. Extra covering and easy to apply. Can be used both indoors and outdoors. For isolating stains in plasterwork, such as moisture, tar, nicotine, soot, grease and other stains and in wooden and concrete surfaces. Can be painted over with all types of wall paint.

Instructions for use:
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Cover the area generously. Shake the spray can well for 3 minutes and spray a test piece. Apply the stain coating in several thin layers and allow to dry thoroughly. Dust-dry after approx. 10 min. Can be sprayed over after approx. 30 min.

Application
First paint your wall in a color of your choice with LAB Wallpaint and then coat the wall (2 layers) with LAB Wall Coating Transparent. You apply the coating with a coating roller and/or brush . Consumption approx. 14 m² per litre.

How do you calculate the required amount of LAB Wall Coating Transparent?
Measure the height and length of the surface you are going to coat. Multiply this together and then divide by 14. Now you know how many liters you need for 1 layer of coating. However, we always recommend coating the surface twice for optimal protection.
For example: with a surface of 7 mx 4 m (28 m² : 14 = 2) you need 2 liters of coating for 1 layer. Or for 2 layers, 4 liters of coating is sufficient.

NB!

• Always use a new set of rollers, trays and brushes before applying the second layer of coating, because they also harden when the coating hardens. 2 sets are needed. For example, use the wall coating processing package.
• After 7 days, the LAB Wall Coating has hardened and is easy to clean.
• LAB Clean the wall coating with neutral household cleaners.
• Treated and untreated surfaces are visible. We recommend that you use a physical barrier (such as overhead cabinets or a plinth) as a transition. If this is not possible, it is recommended to treat the entire wall.
• Don't make more than you need for one layer or you can process within two hours. After mixing the components, the coating hardens and cannot be used a second time.

For example: with a wooden surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 11 m² = 0.9 litre) you need 0.9 liter Wood Coating for 1 layer (calculated with a consumption of 11 m² per litre). We always recommend applying two coats.

For wooden floors that are used the most, such as in the living room and kitchen, we recommend 3 layers of coating or 1 layer of stain and 2 layers of coating. For other rooms and/or furniture, the advice for optimal protection is 2 layers of coating or 1 layer of stain and 1 layer of coating.

Preparation for coating wood
Wood needs attention and care to keep it beautiful. Our advice is to thoroughly degrease the wood with LAB Paint Cleaner . Then sand it down until you see healthy looking and bare wood. Then you can start with the transparent coating of the wood!

TIP! Choose the matt variant (most sold) of the LAB Wood Coating if you want an "untreated wood look" but want optimal protection!

Is the wood not quite the right color? You can always stain it with Vestingh Wood Stain . This stain is available in all colours.

NB! This coating is transparent! If you want to stain or varnish the wood in a different colour, you can do so before coating.
