Purple Palace no. 301

Irene speaking:

Trend color Purple

Purple is a color that you don't often see in the interior. Yet it is a color that is very neutral and matches well with other colors. I was allowed to work for Vestingh with the new color Purple Palace. And see the result here. It matches very nicely with the warm taupe tones. It gives a Mediterranean atmosphere to the living room.

I opted for one right behind the couch. As a result, the color purple embraces the seating area and gives a sense of security. The color is a mystical color and changes with the light of the day. In the evening this color is much darker and that gives even more that secure feeling when you sit on the couch. The color tends more towards a brown tint in the dark. And that is what fits so well within our interior.

Purple is originally a color for the rich. The name Purple Palace fits well with this. The Romans have already discovered this color and used it in their palaces.

This color not only combines well with taupe shades, but also with white, black and gold. With gold it gives a more mystical or Indian atmosphere.

In addition, it is the color of passion, inventiveness, inspiration, originality and spirituality.

The color is calm and certainly suitable for use in the bedroom.

Combine with shades of gray for a more rural atmosphere. Wood and rattan are also an ideal combination with this color.
