Farrow & Ball Selvedge No. 306, a less grey version of Farrow & Ball De Nimes No. 299 . This colour is named after the highly prized denim that is woven on a shuttle loom to achieve closed edges. Farrow & Ball Selvedge No. 306 works particularly well in low-light areas as it creates a familiar and friendly atmosphere, making it suitable for bedrooms or evening rooms. It combines beautifully with accents of darker colours, such as Farrow & Ball Inchyra Blue No. 289 or Farrow & Ball Hopper Head No. 305 . Use Farrow & Ball undercoat in Mid Tones .

Using a 100 ml sample pot makes it easy to test colours in the room you want to paint. Instead of applying directly to the wall, we recommend applying two coats of each of your sample pots to sheets of paper or card (the larger the better) and allowing to dry. Tape your painted sheets up in the room you are painting. Move them around the room to see how the colour changes throughout the day and in different light conditions. The sample pot contains Estate Emulsion, a high- quality, ultra-matt chalk paint for interior ceilings and walls (ultra-matt: 2% sheen).
