Farrow & Ball | Mizzle no. 266

This modest grey-green is named after the West Country evening sky when there is a mix of mist and drizzle. The addition of green pigment reduces the cool blues, creating a lighter shade of Farrow & Ball Pigeon No. 25 and Farrow & Ball Blue Gray No. 91. Rooms feel soft and content when painted in this rather indeterminate colour. Use Farrow & Ball undercoat in Mid Tones .

Using a 100ml sample pot is an easy way to test colours in the room you are painting. Instead of applying directly to the wall, we recommend applying two coats of each of your sample pots to sheets of paper or card (the larger the better) and allowing to dry. Stick your painted sheets up in the room you are painting. Move them around the room to see how the colour changes throughout the day and in different light conditions. The sample pot contains Estate Emulsion, a high- quality, ultra-matt chalk paint for interior ceilings and walls (ultra-matt: 2% sheen).
