The name of Farrow & Ball Dorset Cream No. 68 conjures up just the right colour for us; a rich cream made in the heart of the West Country. A darker and more yellow version of Farrow & Ball Farrow's Cream No. 67 . It should never be used with a bright white but with a sympathetic yellow based neutral such as new white to create a soft warmth and charming traditional colour scheme. Use Farrow & Ball undercoat in Mid Tones.

Using a 100ml sample pot is an easy way to test colours in the room you are painting. Instead of applying directly to the wall, we recommend applying two coats of each of your sample pots to sheets of paper or card (the larger the better) and allowing to dry. Stick your painted sheets up in the room you are painting. Move them around the room to see how the colour changes throughout the day and in different light conditions. The sample pot contains Estate Emulsion, a high- quality, ultra-matt chalk paint for interior ceilings and walls (ultra-matt: 2% sheen).
