Farrow & Ball Cinder Rose No. 246 has almost no yellow pigment found in most pinks, giving it a bluer, more romantic feel. Taking its name from the most beautiful traditional roses, it is the perfect colour for creating a dusky feel in a bedroom, but is also very popular in garden rooms when used with Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone No. 241 and use Farrow & Ball Great White No. 2006 on woodwork to enhance the softness. Use Farrow & Ball undercoat in Mid Tones .

Using a 100ml sample pot is an easy way to test colours in the room you are painting. Instead of applying directly to the wall, we recommend applying two coats of each of your sample pots to sheets of paper or card (the larger the better) and allowing to dry. Stick your painted sheets up in the room you are painting. Move them around the room to see how the colour changes throughout the day and in different light conditions. The sample pot contains Estate Emulsion, a high- quality, ultra-matt chalk paint for interior ceilings and walls (ultra-matt: 2% sheen).
