Renovlies wallpaper (roll per 10 or per 50 meters, 1 meter wide)
We recommend Renovlies wallpaper as an additional pre-treatment for walls in wet rooms, such as shower rooms.
With this Renovlies wallpaper you can remove small holes, hairline cracks and irregularities, making your walls look like new again.
To apply the wallpaper, use Paste Paste glue .
Our advice on walls in a bathroom is always to finish it completely with a cement-based mortar. Plaster-based mortars are softer, which means that damage occurs more quickly. Because plaster is less resistant to moisture, this finish is not preferred in a damp room.
If a plaster-based finishing product has been used, it is advisable to provide the walls with Renovlies wallpaper. This is particularly advisable in the shower area, but it would be wise to provide the entire bathroom with Renovlies. This product strengthens the walls and ensures that any tension that may occur in the walls is distributed. This reduces the chance of the coating cracking or bubbling due to tension. Renovlies wallpaper contains fibres. This gives Renovlies a slightly levelling effect. Renovlies has the appearance of a plastered wall. The advantage of Renovlies is that it cannot tear under normal circumstances. In addition, it is scratch and impact resistant, fire retardant and virtually shrink-free.
Before applying the fleece, first prime the surface with Vestingh FX Wall Fixer to reduce suction. The fleece is then applied with Glue Glue for damp areas. The seams of the fleece are then finished with Plasterboard Filler to obtain a smooth result (sand smooth after drying). Then apply 2 layers of LAB Bathroom Coating Primer and finish with 2 layers of LAB Bathroom Coating . Finish the edges with a silicone sealant in transparent or in color. Preferably provide the connection between wall and floor with a skirting board (for example a tile or stainless steel).
