Farrow & Ball Etruscan Red no. 56 is a deep earthy colour and became a popular feature in the neoclassical decoration that followed the original excavation of Pompeii in the 18th century. With more brown tones and less intensity than Farrow & Ball Preference Red no. 297 is a wonderfully grounding shade for kitchen islands and utility rooms. Use Farrow & Ball undercoat in Red & Warm Tones .
