This very pale greenish gray is named after Cromarty Firth, a place of swirling mists mentioned daily in the Shipping Forecast. A neutral yet attractive color. Farrow & Ball Cromarty No. 285 brings a muted softness to any room and creates an easy to use finish that is neither too green nor too grey. A shade lighter than Farrow & Ball Mizzle No. 266 . It works beautifully in combination with Farrow & Ball Blue Gray no. 91 or Farrow & Ball Pigeon no. 25 . Use Farrow & Ball Primer in Mid Tones .

LIMEWASH
A highly breathable specialist finish suitable for interior or exterior walls and ceilings of traditional and historic buildings. This paint adheres to the underlying layer and becomes part of the building itself. Limewash is used on limestone, lime plaster and clay-filled wickerwork. As a result, this finish does not need Primer & Undercoat. Limewash gives a powder matte finish with a special depth of color that matures with time. Application requires specialist knowledge, which is why we recommend that you consult a painter or interior designer. Available in 5 liter cans (extremely matte: 2% gloss). Consumption 5 liters approx. 50 m².
