DESCRIPTION

Farrow & Ball | Calamine no. 230

Colors like this were common in the anterooms and boudoirs of country houses from the 1870s through the time of Edward VII. A light touch of gray prevents this subtle pink from becoming too sugary, giving a much fresher end result. In smaller rooms it gets intense, but in larger well-lit rooms it feels much more delicate. Use Farrow & Ball primer in White & Light Tones .

LIMEWASH
A highly breathable specialist finish suitable for interior or exterior walls and ceilings of traditional and historic buildings. This paint adheres to the underlying layer and becomes part of the building itself. Limewash is used on limestone, lime plaster and clay-filled wickerwork. As a result, this finish does not need Primer & Undercoat. Limewash gives a powder matte finish with a special depth of color that matures with time. Application requires specialist knowledge, which is why we recommend that you consult a painter or interior designer. Available in 5 liter cans (extremely matte: 2% gloss). Consumption 5 liters approx. 50 m².
