ARTE Rectangle fur wallpaper is a wallcovering made of genuine cowhide. The hairs of the fur are just begging to be touched! Each piece of ARTE Rectangle leather is unique and sewn together in a random order, creating a varied patchwork. Due to the crafting process and the natural characteristics of the material, imperfections, unique color variations and irregularities occur. Differences between samples and end product characterize the natural beauty of the ARTE fur wallpaper from the Les Cuirs collection.
The ARTE Rectangle fur wallpaper is available in 14 different colours. The cowhides are coloured in special dye baths for this purpose and then cut to size. These rectangles are 50 cm high. And the design is 3 blocks wide, so one block is 50 cm high and 33.3 cm wide.
Sunlight affects colours on materials. And makes colour fade. Natural materials such as silk, wool, natural fibres such as sea grass, banana leaf and skins/fur are - because they are dyed - extra sensitive to sunlight.
This fur wallpaper is moderately lightfast, which means that we recommend using this luxurious wall covering in a room that does not receive much daylight.
In addition, it is good to know that the skins are dyed. A slight color deviation may be possible. It is part of the unique adventurous character of this wallpaper, and - if this occurs - is not a fault.
