Arte Flamant Pied-de-Poule Wallpaper – Character Collection
The ARTE Flamant Pied-de-poule wallpaper is inspired by - as the name suggests - the classic pied-de-poule. Pied-de-poule (also known as cock's foot; English: houndstooth) is a two-tone textile pattern, characterized by interrupted stitches that make the pattern consist of a tile shape of abstract square shapes. The most common color variant is black and white, although other colors are also sometimes found.
The houndstooth pattern was originally used in woven wool from the Scottish Lowlands, but is now used in a variety of different materials, including wallpaper.
Dessin Flamant wallpaper Pied-de-poule revives an evergreen. Everyone recognizes this motif: the checked pattern is found in both the fashion and design world and is a true classic. The design was not executed in the well-known black and white combination, but with soft beige and gray tones.
