LAB Floor Coating
A look-alike cast floor without high costs. That is possible with LAB Floor Coating. The LAB Floor Coating system consists of four different products, namely: LAB Floor Coating Impregnator, LAB Floor Coating Primer, LAB Floor Coating and LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant (optional).
It is important to read the product advice carefully before application.
LAB Floor Coating Impregnation
With LAB Floor Coating Impregnation you fix powdery surfaces and highly absorbent surfaces are quickly sealed. This makes the covering system of LAB Floor Coating easier and more even to apply and creates a good bond with the surface. Is the surface not absorbent? Then this first step is not necessary.
Consumption: 6 to 10 m² per kilo. Apply LAB Floor Coating Impregnation in 1 layer
LAB Floor Coating Primer
LAB Floor Coating Primer provides excellent adhesion and color coverage. Concrete floors and cement screeds should be treated with LAB Floor Coating Impregnation. If the substrate is not absorbent (such as wooden floors, tiled floors, existing cast floors and already painted or coated floors), step 1 (the impregnation) can be skipped and you can apply LAB Floor Coating Primer directly.
Consumption: 5 to 8 m² per kilo. Apply LAB Floor Coating Primer in 2 layers. It is important that you already obtain good coverage with the primer before you continue with step 3.
LAB Floor Coating
LAB Floor Coating is a colourfast coating that does not yellow. The coating is impact and scratch resistant and easy to clean. You apply LAB Floor Coating to floors that have been treated with LAB Floor Coating Impregnator (only necessary for absorbent surfaces) and/or LAB Floor Coating Primer.
Consumption: 7 to 10 m² per kilo. Apply LAB Floor Coating in two layers. It is important that you have already obtained good coverage with LAB Floor Coating Primer in step 2, especially with bright and white colours. Otherwise, two layers of coating may not be sufficient for a covering end result.
LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant
LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant is optionally the fourth step of the LAB Floor Coating system. It is especially recommended for floors in kitchens (because stains then have no chance to penetrate the coating) and floors with a lot of traffic (think of shops and such or living rooms where shoes are walked on and/or where pets are present.)
LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant has a milky colour, dries transparent and does not yellow. Please note! The coating can leave a white haze on dark and bright colours. In that case, have the LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant coloured by us in the LAB COLOUR of the LAB Floor Coating you used. We will be happy to inform you when this is or is not desirable.
The coating makes the surface of the substrate smoother, which makes the light radiation less diffuse. For this reason, colours can show a small change in appearance. If in doubt, make a test area or come and view our samples in our concept store.
Consumption: 8 to 12 m² per litre. Apply LAB Vloercoating Slijtvast in at least 2 full layers.
How do you calculate the required quantity?
Measure the length and width of the surface you are going to treat. Multiply this by each other and then divide it by the consumption per litre. Now you know how many litres you need for 1 layer. For example: for a floor surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 10 m² = 1 litre) you need 1 litre of LAB Vloercoating Slijtvast (calculated with a consumption of 10 m² per litre) for 1 layer. We always recommend applying two layers.
We do not recommend using the entire LAB Floor Coating system on the floor in the wet room of the bathroom.

The coating makes the surface of the substrate smoother, making the light emission less diffuse. For this reason, colors may experience a slight change in appearance. If in doubt, make a test area or come and view our samples in our concept store.
Consumption: 8 to 12 m² per litre. Apply LAB Floor Coating Wear Resistant in at least 2 full layers.
How do you calculate the required amount?
Measure the length and width of the surface you are going to treat. Multiply this together and then divide by the consumption per litre. Now you know how many liters you need for 1 layer. For example: with a floor surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 10 m² = 1 litre) you need 1 liter of LAB Floor Coating Wear Resistant (calculated with a consumption of 10 m² per litre) for 1 layer. We always recommend applying two coats.
We do not recommend using the entire LAB Floor Coating system on the floor in the wet room of the bathroom.

A spicy color that is still a bit removed from black. Peppery Black no. 71 is a grayish dark brown with an ocher yellow and wine red undertone. A seasoning for your home. With Peppery Black no. 71 you can go in many directions. Also consider giving your window frames this color.
LAB Floor Coating
A look-a-like cast floor without high costs. This is possible with LAB Floor Coating. The LAB Floor Coating system consists of four different products, namely: LAB Floor Coating Impregnator, LAB Floor Coating Primer, LAB Floor Coating and LAB Floor Coating Wear Resistant (optional).
It is important to read the product advice carefully before application.
LAB Floor Coating Impregnate
LAB Floor Coating Impregnate fixes powdery surfaces and seals highly absorbent surfaces quickly. As a result, the covering system of LAB Floor Coating is easier and smoother to apply and good adhesion with the substrate is created. Is the surface non-absorbent? Then this first step is not necessary.
Consumption: 6 to 10 m² per kilo. Apply LAB Floor Coating Impregnate in 1 layer
LAB Floor Coating Primer
LAB Floor Coating Primer gives you excellent adhesion and color coverage. Concrete floors and cement screeds must be treated with LAB Floor Coating Impregnator. If the surface is not absorbent (such as wooden floors, tile floors, existing cast floors and already painted or coated floors), step 1 (the impregnation) can be skipped and you can apply LAB Floor Coating Primer immediately.
Consumption: 5 to 8 m² per kilo. Apply LAB Floor Coating Primer in 2 layers. It is important that you already get good coverage with the primer before you continue with step 3.
Otherwise, two layers of coating may not be sufficient for an opaque end result.
LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant
LAB Floor Coating Wear-resistant is optionally the fourth step of the LAB Floor Coating system. It is especially recommended on floors in kitchens (because stains then have no chance of absorbing into the coating) and floors with a lot of traffic (think of shops and the like or living rooms where people walk with shoes and/or where pets are present). )
LAB Floor Coating Wear Resistant has a milky color, dries transparent and does not yellow. NB! On dark and bright colours, the coating can leave a white cast. If the surface is not absorbent (such as wooden floors, tiled floors, existing cast floors and already painted or coated floors), step 1 (the impregnation) can be skipped and you can apply LAB Floor Coating Primer directly.
