LAB Multiprimer

LAB Multiprimer is a high-quality bonding primer for indoor and outdoor use, suitable for almost any grease-free surface. This durable, matt, water-based primer has good coverage and is very easy to sand. LAB Multiprimer has a major positive influence on the durability of the subsequent layers.

It is important to read the product advice carefully before application!

LAB Multiprimer is the ideal start for those who want to paint with LAB Interior Lacquer or LAB Exterior Lacquer on wood, mdf, metal, zinc, aluminum and plastic. Ideal for priming (plastic) doors and frames, rebated doors, the radiator, door fittings, chipboards with foil (like most IKEA cabinets), plastic sockets or covers and pipes. Are you only going to paint wood? Then we recommend LAB Houtprimer Binnen or LAB Houtprimer Buiten before you start painting.

Consumption: 10 m² per litre. The yield depends on the substrate, pre-treatment, method of application, applied layer thickness, processing material and conditions.

How do you calculate the required amount?
Measure the length and width of the surface you are going to treat. Multiply this together and then divide by the consumption per litre. Now you know how many liters you need for 1 layer. For example: with a surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 10 m² = 1 litre) you need 1 liter of LAB Multiprimer for 1 layer. For absorbent surfaces, we always recommend applying two layers. Also assess the coverage. Before you start painting with the topcoat, your work must already be properly opaque in the LAB Multiprimer. If necessary, apply 2 layers of this primer.
