LAB Wallpaint

LAB Wallpaint is a water-based matt wall paint. This durable finish for walls and ceilings indoors is easy to apply, provides good coverage and can be cleaned according to scrub class 1. The paint meets the requirements of the French A+ label and the requirements of the sustainability quality mark BREEAM (HEA9), which guarantees a clean indoor climate. Consumption: 8 to 12 m² per litre.

How do you calculate the required quantity? Measure the length and width of the surface you are going to treat. Multiply this by each other and then divide it by the consumption per litre. Now you know how many litres you need for 1 layer. For example: for a surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 10 m² = 1 litre) you need 1 litre of LAB Wallpaint for 1 layer (calculated with a consumption of 10 m² per litre).

In general, we recommend 2 coats. With some colours, a single coat seems to cover, but then you do not achieve scrub class 1. When LAB Wallpaint is applied over an existing wall paint with a dark or bright colour or when you choose a bright or light LAB COLOUR, more than 2 coats may be necessary to achieve perfect coverage. Coverage is of course also dependent on the method of application (roller, brush or spray), processing materials (for example type of roller) and applied layer thickness.

LAB Chalk

LAB Chalk is a durable, matt lime paint for indoor use. With LAB Chalk you can apply beautiful colour shades in a LAB COLOUR of your choice to the wall. Lime paint can be applied in various ways with a block brush, sponge or cloth. For a cloudy effect, paint the wall in circular movements with a block brush, sponge or cloth. Prefer a random pattern? Then apply LAB Chalk criss-cross with a block brush. If you want a streaky effect as an end result, also use a block brush. In this case, apply the lime paint irregularly in a vertical direction from ceiling to skirting board. Everyone has their own unique signature. So you can really put your own spin on it with a unique end result.
LAB Chalk is breathable, mold and bacteria resistant, solvent-free and 100 percent mineral.
Please note! Always pre-treat the surface with LAB Chalk Primer first.

On the other hand, we recommend diluting the second layer with 30 percent water. This of course increases the yield considerably. All in all, the yield depends on the substrate, pretreatment, method of application, applied layer thickness (don't work too sparingly!), processing material and conditions. Make sure you order enough LAB Chalk, because a second mixture can differ slightly in colour due to the natural properties of lime. Do you unexpectedly have too little paint? Mix a new pot with the paint you have left over and use this for a new layer or wall.

LAB Cementum Primer

LAB Cementum Primer is an adhesive primer, intended for indoor use, which contains some structure and is therefore ideally suited to obtain good adhesion with LAB Cementum Wall. This grain primer can be applied to walls made of plasterboard or plaster blocks, new stucco, plasterwork, Ytong blocks of aerated concrete, tiles, chipboard, MDF and painted walls and is applied in 1 layer. Before use, the primer must be diluted with 2-3% water.

LAB Cementum Wall

With LAB Cementum Wall you apply the desired concrete look to your wall in 2 layers. You simply spread the product over the wall with a roller and then create the concrete look with a trowel. You determine the look yourself with your own signature: fine and atmospheric or rather coarser and robust.

Always make a test setting before you start. Applying LAB Cementum Wall is not difficult, but does require some skill and/or practice. Test all the tips from the product advice and determine which effect you like best.
