LAB Wall Coating is a transparent wall finish for intensively used walls , such as kitchens, the toilet, walls at the entrance or staircases to keep it perfectly clean and for optimal protection.
NB! Do you want to apply LAB Wall Coating to a dark wall? To prevent a white blur on your wall, you should paint the bottom layer with LAB Wallpaint in a LAB COLOUR, so that we can color the coating correctly in the relevant shade.
Write down the color name and/or the color number of the desired shade of LAB Wallpaint for the undercoat at 'note and/or color choice' in your shopping cart.
Do you doubt whether your current color on the wall is dark? Then write down the color name or color number in the shopping cart under 'note and/or color choice'. We then check whether the coating needs to be tinted.
COLOR CHOOSE?
Has the wall not been painted yet or are you ready for a new colour? Order the LAB Colourcard , a largeLAB Color Sample or the LAB Color Fan .
LAB Wall Coating Transparent consists of a 2-component system. This makes the product extremely strong, scrub, wear and scratch resistant and moisture resistant . The wall coating is water-based , does not yellow and dries quickly (approximately 3 hours) after application to the wall.
No more problems with dirty joints and easy to apply. Available in matte, satin and gloss and comes with a free mixing cup.
Application
First paint your wall in a color of your choice with LAB Wallpaint and then coat the wall (2 layers) with LAB Wall Coating Transparent. You apply the coating with a coating roller and/or brush . Consumption approx. 14 m² per litre.

How do you calculate the required amount of LAB Wall Coating Transparent?
Measure the height and length of the surface you are going to coat. Multiply this together and then divide by 14. Now you know how many liters you need for 1 layer of coating. However, we always recommend coating the surface twice for optimal protection.
For example: with a surface of 7 mx 4 m (28 m² : 14 = 2) you need 2 liters of coating for 1 layer. Or for 2 layers, 4 liters of coating is sufficient.
NB!
- Always use a new set of rollers, trays and brushes before applying the second layer of coating, because they also harden when the coating hardens. 2 sets are needed. For example, use the wall coating processing package.
- After 7 days, the LAB Wall Coating has hardened and is easy to clean.
- LAB Clean the wall coating with neutral household cleaners.
- Treated and untreated surfaces are visible. We recommend that you use a physical barrier (such as overhead cabinets or a plinth) as a transition. If this is not possible, it is recommended to treat the entire wall.
- Don't make more than you need for one layer or you can process within two hours. After mixing the components, the coating hardens and cannot be used a second time.
